Welcome to a new Week in Review, where we’ll let you know what we’ve been reading lately, whether it’s super steamy Romance, our latest Young Adult obsession, or anything in between. Without further adieu, here’s what we’ve been reading this week:
Sandi: So! This week I read The Bearwalker’s Daughter, by Beth Trissel. It’s an historical romance featuring a Native American as the heroine (half Shawnee, half white), a white man adopted by the Shawnee as the hero, and a healthy dose of the paranormal. It was…okay. There is insta-chemistry between the principals, there is steam (some, not over-much, which was fine with me) and there are some good chase scenes and fights. But…I probably won’t read it again.
Kassiah: This week, I read Falling for the Wingman by Crista McHugh and I loved it! I haven’t read the other books in the series, but this was fine as a standalone, and I definitely want to read more from her 🙂
