Kassiah: I love reading books set in Louisiana, especially NOLA, so even though I was internally rolling my eyes when I read the synopsis for this book, I knew I had to read it for the setting alone.

This story is pretty cliché and you totally know what’s going to happen. Basically, Kennedy is a manwhore lawyer who sets his sites on fellow attorney Scarlett. They fall for each other while working on the case. Will Scarlett be able to tame Kennedy’s lascivious ways?

I didn’t love either of these characters all that much, and like I said, this storyline is predictable, but it was definitely hot and a quick read. I haven’t read anything else by Saunders, but I wouldn’t mind checking out more of her work.
