When millionaire bad boy, Will Thornton, tries to buy computer-geek Kate Kelly’s building out from under her, she refuses to sell. Will might be uber rich, and super successful but she won’t be bullied. Trouble is, she didn’t expect Will to look like one of her fantasy heroes, or to make her heart beat a little too fast. She’s prepared to wait him out, but it'll take every ounce of her self-control to win this game.

With millions of dollars on the line, Will is positive he can make Kate sell. He’s played the game better than anybody and charming is his middle name. Problem is, the snarky, geeky, computer-wiz is nothing like he imagined—impossibly cute and a match for him in every way.

The game is on but can two such radically different people come out winners in the game of seduction?

Erin: Geek meets millionaire in Emma Shortt’s The Seduction Game. The blurb totally drew me in, but unfortunately this is a case of the story not quite living up to my expectations.

I sure do love a quirky, geeky girl and while I liked Kate Kelly well enough, I didn’t love her. And as for millionaire Will Thornton, I liked him even less. I think this might be a case of this book just not working for me. There could definitely have been more character development for both Kate and Will, and there were plenty of spots where the story dragged. However, this was cute and the love story was nice enough. Check it out and see what you think. You might just like it more than I did.

Erin

Erin is a book addict! She loves books of all kinds, but her favorites are Contemporary Romance or YA (and she reads both boy/boy AND boy/girl, sometimes even girl/girl!) She's been reading since she could hold a book in her hands and doesn't see that changing any time soon. Give her a Coke, kick ass tunes from her favorite playlists, and a book, and she's in reading heaven.

She's a Texan, though she drinks her tea plain and NOT sweet. She loves cheesecake, strawberry limeade's from Sonic and her favorite color is purple. In her books, she loves an HEA, but she never minds if the road is rough to get there, as long as the reward is worth the struggle.
