Tempting Tristan is a stand-alone M/M romance featuring two sexy, lovable alpha heroes.

Fresh off the heels of yet another bad relationship, Tristan Brewer is taking a break from men to try to figure out where he keeps going wrong. He knows his biggest fault—he leads with his heart, not his head—and that’s never going to change. But after several introspective weeks, he’s beginning to get a handle on things. That is, until badass heartthrob Alex Wells walks into his bar...

Alex has spent eight years in the army, months in a hospital bed, and far too long hiding his sexual identity. He’s guilt-ridden, damaged, pissed off, and up for a Silver Star for the incident that nearly cost him his life—and kept him from his grandmother’s funeral. But all he wants to do is live the life he’s always dreamed of and forget his stint with the institution that allows but doesn’t necessarily accept.

The chemistry between Tristan and Alex ignites from the moment they meet, and the more time they spend together, the hotter the flames burn. But the closer they become, the more Alex's walls go up, and when the two walk onto a military base, Tristan finds out Alex’s physical scars aren’t the ones that run the deepest.

***Our Thoughts***

If you’re a fan of hurt/comfort books starring two swoon worthy guys, Melissa Foster’s Tempting Tristan will be exactly what you’re looking for. An ex-military man suffering from PTSD and a guy who’s taking a break from the singles scene, Alex and Tristan will melt your heart and make you want to give each a big hug. And yes, this is the third book in a series, but it works well as a standalone, and you won’t be lost if you start the series here.

There’s a lot to love in this book. Two really engaging and captivating characters, a dual POV, and lots of sweet and sexy times makes this a pretty fantastic way to spend a few hours. Though it might seem like it from the blurb, this isn’t an overly angsty book, which I have to say I really appreciated. It’s a nice love story … though I’m not a huge fan of the insta-love going on here, Alex and Tristan’s character’s are likable enough that I didn’t mind so much. There is plenty of chemistry between these two as well as a really solid foundation of connection that helped the romance be more believable. Lots of well-developed secondary characters added a lot to the overall story as well. All in all, Tempting Tristan is story of hope. It’s sweet and sexy with solid writing, genuine characters, and will definitely leave you with a smile on your face!
