Mixing business with pleasure never felt so right.
Blake Buchanan and Anastasia Delaney were roommates in college and could never see eye to eye about anything. The only time their walls came down was during one night of passion before Ana left without a word, never expecting to cross paths with Blake again.
Years later, Blake has made his millions. He comes back to Ana’s small California town to manage a corporate takeover that will close down the home restoration business she’s poured her heart and soul into. The fiery Ana is determined to convince money-minded Blake of her business’s worth, but when a family emergency throws them together, their walls come tumbling down once again…
Problem is, Blake’s business-first position hasn’t changed. And Ana can’t fall for the man who could become her boss—it’s not only her job at stake, but her heart.
Erin: In Annie Seaton’s new book, Tangling With the CEO, we’re introduced to Half Moon Bay, a place that I wish I could visit! And the fact that this is a second-chance story, well I knew I was going to love this book … and I did! Rich with colorful characters, a setting that pulled me right in, and a love story that I was invested in, made Tangling with the CEO a delight from start to finish.
Anastasia Delaney and Blake Buchannan knew each other years ago when they shared a student house in college. Ten years have passed before they see one another again, but that doesn’t mean that Ana and Jack have forgotten each other. The chemistry between these two was something else, and I absolutely loved the way they bantered and teased each other. So cute and sweet. What I loved more than anything was the sense of family and community that permeated the book. It just left me with such warm, happy feelings. When a family emergency has Blake taking care of five children, well, my heart just melted. The scenes with Blake, Ana, and the kids were just awesome.
I can’t wait for the next book in the series! This one was just too much fun, full of all kinds of feels and swoony moments. And I’m looking forward to visiting Half Moon Bay again, too!
She's a Texan, though she drinks her tea plain and NOT sweet. She loves cheesecake, strawberry limeade's from Sonic and her favorite color is purple. In her books, she loves an HEA, but she never minds if the road is rough to get there, as long as the reward is worth the struggle.
