I don’t know what to say about this book. I haven’t read the other books in the Bound Hearts series, and though I think this definitely can be read as a standalone, I am pretty sure I’m missing something. Like, a lot.

I really loved the relationship here between Alyssa, Sebastian, and Shane. I thought it was kind of weird that Sebastian and Shane are cousins, but I loved how in sync they were. I loved this ménage relationship, and I would definitely argue with anyone who ever says Lora Leigh doesn’t write incredibly hot sex scenes.

Otherwise, the plot was kind of thin, but I guess that could be because I didn’t read the other stories in this series. I don’t think I’ll go back and read the other 13 books, but I will say that if you’re looking for a hot ménage story with some substance, Secret Pleasure might just be the book for you.
