Kassiah: Ah, falling for the best friend’s little sister. It’s one of my favorite storylines, and Cindi Madsen is one of my favorite authors, so of course I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book.

After losing their father in the line of duty, Faith wants her brother, Kaleb, to have no part in anything dangerous, let alone with the SWAT team. Faith’s been burned in the romance department, too, so she moves to be closer to her brother, where she meets his partner and best friend, Connor. *fans self* He’s a smooth-talking hot officer and isn’t looking for any commitments, especially with his partner’s sister–no matter how much chemistry he feels with her. Faith tries to resist Connor’s many charms and Connor tries to stay away from Faith, but you know what happens.

I loved this story. I really enjoy this series and all of Cindi Madsen’s books. If you want a fun, romantic story with heart and swoon, be sure to pick up Resisting the Hero. Trust, this is one hero you don’t want to resist!
