New neighbors are bad news in Samantha Harper’s experience. Especially ones as suspicious and brooding as the guy who just moved in next door. So when the dangerous but sexy stranger seems to be involved in something illegal—the aspiring cop in her takes action. If only she could stop thinking about how he looks naked...
All DEA agent Ash Cooper wants to do is lay low and survive this crap surveillance assignment. But after a run-in with his attractive neighbor, he realizes that’s going to be much harder than he planned. Keeping the woman out of trouble is hard enough, but keeping his hands off her is near impossible.
Kassiah: When I got the review copy of On Her Six, I kept putting off reading it for some reason. I wish I hadn’t because I really liked this book!
The summary is pretty spot on, and you know I love a good forbidden romance. I thought Ash was relatable–he has a past–and oh so hot.
“I can’t stand not touching you,” he said. “I thought I could, but it’s not possible.” He leaned back and looked down at her, his gaze roaming her body. He shook his head. “Yeah, I definitely can’t keep my hands off you.”
The chemistry between Ash and Sam is fiery hot, and my only issue with this book was Sam. She’s so…bratty!
I liked Ash, the suspense, the pacing, the old ladies in the neighborhood, and the sexy times. Those all outweighed how much I didn’t like Sam. If you love romantic suspense and hot af DEA Agents, you have to check out Christina Elle’s debut.
