***Our Thoughts***
You already know how I feel about serials, but since I love Beth Kery so much, I knew I had to give this one a try. The story was fast-paced, and begins by focusing on a chance meeting that throws together billionaire recluse Jacob and journalist Harper. There’s a secret here that we’ll be trying to figure out over the series. Instead of reviewing them all separately, I’ll just let you know that this whole series is sexy and thrilling and a lot of story. And did I mention that this was crazy hot? The best part of it wasn’t the sex, though, and that surprised me. I really enjoyed Jacob and Harper’s relationship and felt like the drama that was drawn out was only done so because of the nature of its release. I don’t know if this will be released as one novel, like The Affair was, but I highly recommend checking it out if it is.
