Raina Easton never expected to be training a cheerleading squad for a baseball team. But the owner of the building where her burlesque club is housed is threatening to sell, and she needs to get a deposit together.

Malachi Coulter can't believe that Alex Winters wants cheerleaders for their team. When he meets Raina, he can't deny his attraction… He's just not sure that Raina's wild ways are what he's looking for. Raina isn't thrilled about finding herself attracted to a guy like Mal, ex-army, motorcycle, security, tough guy.

When a crazed fan starts causing trouble, Mal is pulled in two directions. He wants to shut the squad down but Raina wants the money. Can a former bad boy and a former bad girl team up to win the day or are they just destined to strike out?

I was really looking forward to Mal’s story in Lawless in Leather, and boy did it deliver. Raina and Mal have chemistry in spades and the story was pretty interesting. You know I love Cheerleaders 🙂 She was totally sassy and he was brooding in just the right way. There were some things that I didn’t like, beginning with the fact that these cheerleaders were for a professional baseball team. *shrugs* Also, there’s some drama that I thought was unnecessary, but Raina and Mal made up for it.

I’m glad we got to see so much of the other characters from this series, too. If you’re a romance fan, especially of stories that are opposites attract in every way, then you definitely want to check out Lawless in Leather by Melanie Scott.
