Dr. Calla Roberts has seen too much death, destruction and betrayal to ever believe in fairy tales or men who are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. Which is why LA Lawyer Alex Hardy irritates the crap out of her. He’s a lawyer who practices radical honesty in a city famous for make believe.

When an actor who thinks he can buy or cheat his way out of anything attempts to discredit Calla, Alex (with a crooked nose for trouble) champions her desperate cause. She slowly begins to think that good guys do exist, until she discovers Alex has lied about who he is, and who he loves.

Erin: Confident, sassy doctor meets charming, quirky lawyer is the premise for Julie Rowe’s Hollywood Scandal, book 3 of the Seacliffe Medical series. Though part of a series, this book can absolutely be read as a stand alone with no problem. A little slow at first, Hollywood Scandal heated up nicely and I was entertained until the end.

Dr. Calla Roberts needs attorney Alex Hardy’s help when she’s targeted by a Hollywood playboy. These two had plenty of chemistry and though there’s not a lot of smut in the book, there’s plenty of romance. Good dialog, well developed characters, and crisp writing made Hollywood Scandal a very enjoyable read. This is an excellent addition to the series and makes a perfect beach read.

Erin

Erin is a book addict! She loves books of all kinds, but her favorites are Contemporary Romance or YA (and she reads both boy/boy AND boy/girl, sometimes even girl/girl!) She's been reading since she could hold a book in her hands and doesn't see that changing any time soon. Give her a Coke, kick ass tunes from her favorite playlists, and a book, and she's in reading heaven.

She's a Texan, though she drinks her tea plain and NOT sweet. She loves cheesecake, strawberry limeade's from Sonic and her favorite color is purple. In her books, she loves an HEA, but she never minds if the road is rough to get there, as long as the reward is worth the struggle.
