Muscled, tattooed, and irresistible.

Thomas Street is an ex-con, but before he got out of prison, he locked eyes with her…

The moment Street sees Katie serving food in a hellhole of a prison, he wants her. Her sweet little body against his. Under his. Her screaming his name until she admits she’s never had better.

Now he’s found her again, working in a bookstore of all places, and she’s just as gorgeous as he remembers. Only Katie thinks he can be redeemed. That there’s a good man underneath his darkness.

He’s not so sure.

But then Katie becomes his. Katie and her daughter.

And he’ll risk everything, including fighting the devil himself, to protect them.

Kassiah: Where do I even start with this book? Thomas Street became obsessed with Katie when she was a lunch lady at the prison he was serving time in. I don’t think they spoke one word to each other the entire time she worked there. Fast forward two years (I think), and Street’s out–and he finds finds Katie. She gets him a job at the bookstore she works at, and then…you know what happens. They fall in love. Sort of. I mean, they do, but there’s so much back and forth between them, I don’t even know.

There were hot moments, but hardly. If you want a bad boy (literally) with dirty thoughts and lots of drama while nothing really happens, then maybe check out Hard Time. Personally, I think you can skip it.
