Twenty-three-year-old Camryn Singer never imagined that she would return to the place where she lost everything. To grant a dying wish, she moves back to the small Jersey beach town where she grew up, hoping to somehow find the missing pieces of her life. Determined to keep her wounds unopened and her heart guarded, she instead slams head-first into Cole Stevens.

Sexy surfer Cole has always used the waves to numb the pain of his past. But when he runs into Camryn on the beach one day, he wants nothing more than for her to heal his scars and light the spark back in his life.

Will Camryn and Cole be ripped apart when the ghosts from their pasts come back to life, or will they discover that it’s not until you’re lost, that you can be found?

Kassiah: Twenty-three year old Camryn Singer’s hometown holds a lot of bad memories for her–her high school boyfriend dumped her when he found out about her pregnancy–but she moves back with her young son, Gavin, to grant her mother’s dying wish.

…she always believed coming back to where we had lost everything would help us find what we needed.

She can’t help the waves of lust that hit her when she meets surfer Cole Stevens, but she’s sworn off the possibility of getting hurt again. Cole’s pretty determined to prove to her that love’s worth a second chance.

“…I want all of your heart, even the parts that have been broken into millions of pieces. I swear that I’ll spend the rest of my life putting every last piece back together, if that’s what it takes.”

Can they keep working toward forever when their pasts come back to haunt them?

Though I felt like some of this story was way too dramatic, the idea for Found in You was interesting, and I liked the characters. Camryn and Cole were fun together.

Cole held up two paper bags as he announced, “Breakfast!”

He glanced up and down my body inspecting my “just rolled out of bed look” that consisted of short boxers with a fitted tank top.

“Or we could take these to your room and make it breakfast in bed?”

Amused by his suggestion, I playfully punched him in his rock-solid abs. “Keep your dirty thoughts to yourself, Mr. Stevens.” I lifted to my toes and grabbed the bags out of his hands. “Or I may just have to take the goods and run!”

Hooking his arms around my waist, he jerked my body into his. “Call me Mr. Stevens again, and I may have to put my dirty thoughts to action.”

Cole was sexy and sweet and totally all in, and though Camryn had some moments that drove me crazy and had me questioning what the hell she could possibly be thinking, she was likable for the most part. I liked Camryn’s friends, too.

“Cam, it’s time to stop running from everything and everyone. Take what you want in life… take what you and Gavin deserve.”

This book was self-published, and I think it could have benefited from having a professional editor. Overall, Found in You was a good story with characters I liked and an author that I will definitely be checking out in the future.
