Windy City Millionaire Devlin Stone is about to discover that love and revenge don't mix.
Fifteen years ago my father went to jail for crime he didn't commit. Now, I'm back to take revenge on the man who sent him there. He believes himself untouchable, and for the most part, he is. His daughter, however, is very touchable and well within my reach.
I remember her as a sweet kid, who took piano lessons from my mother. These days she's a complicated woman, who has a knack for distracting me from my retribution.
She wants to save me. I intend to ruin her. Things are going to get interesting.

The summary for this story is pretty spot-on. Devlin wants revenge against the man who was responsible for his father being wrongly convicted and sent to prison fifteen years ago. Now, revenge consumes Devlin, and he knows just how to get it: through Rebecca, the daughter of his nemesis. He doesn’t count of falling for Rebecca, and she certainly didn’t see herself with someone like Devlin. But fall they do. Will it be enough to save him?
I liked this story and though I could have done with more at the end, I think the pacing and the suspense were awesome. I would have liked a bit more romance between Devlin and Rebecca. I got it–they couldn’t stay away from each other, but considering Devlin’s motivation, I expected more gravity between them. You’ve read variations of this story before, but I definitely like Caitlyn Blue’s take on it. I’m looking forward to more from her for sure!
Good luck, Pretties!
