I wanted to love this book. I think I got spoiled for hot Ranchers in Victoria James’s Tall Pines Ranch series, so I was expecting more than we got here. Cade and Piper were hot and had great chemistry. I just didn’t love this book, and I’m not sure if it’s because I had built it up so much in my mind before reading or if it really wasn’t great. It was okay.
