Kaylee: This happens all the time to exes who share common friends, right? Dani’s best friend asks her to play nice with Dani’s ex, Jamie, even though she hates him for breaking her heart. I love second chance romances and I was excited to check this one out.
Jamie was a total douchebag and Dani was an idiot. I liked the steam, but that was about it. Personally, I didn’t like Dani’s best friend, and I wanted Dani to tell her to take a hike. I think I would tell Jamie the same thing, too. This story needed more at the end, and I don’t just mean more after their HEA. I mean more–something. Bridesmaid Blues was a fast read with a good plot, but I wanted more from the story, slightly better pacing, and really wanted the MCs to not be together. Guess this one just wasn’t for me.
