Bianca Easton is the perfect senator’s daughter.

Law school? Check.

Camera-ready smile? Check.

A dull and boring existence? Double check.

But that was before. Before she lost her best and only friend in a tragic accident. Before she found that friend's unfinished bucket list. Definitely before she turned her life upside-down by deciding to stay in New York for six months to finish it.

It's while she's checking off her first item on the list--buy coffee for a stranger--that she meets Ian Mathis. Between the tattoo sleeve curling up his right arm, his guitar-roughened fingertips, and the secrets shadowing his past, he's a complication Bianca doesn't need but desperately wants.

With every item they cross off the list together, Bianca uncovers a piece of herself that she's buried under what's expected, all the while breaking her own rules by falling hard for Ian. But when her six months run out, Bianca has to decide if she's willing to risk her empty but picture-perfect life for a chance at real, messy love.

Kassiah: I love Jamie Howard, and I have to admit that I was a little nervous to read this. I hoped I was going to love it, and I was worried that I wouldn’t. I know, I’m crazy like that sometimes.

Bottom line is, I ❤ All the Ways You Saved Me, and I am so glad that I read it! Bianca is the daughter of a senator, on track to live a perfectly boring life when her best friend dies. She promises her friend to live life to the fullest, taking on a bucket list that she intends to complete, starting with buying coffee for a stranger. That act sets her on the course of finding love–and finding herself.

The pacing of this story is perfect and the romance that develops between Ian (the stranger Bianca buys coffee for) is delicious. Though some things were predictable, some of them will keep you guessing til the end. One of the things that I loved the most about this book, surprisingly, was Bianca. She’s not a doormat. She’s got friends who stand up for her. And she’s not a bitch! I liked Ian a lot, too, especially at the end.

With sweet romance and a true coming-of-age story, Jamie Howard’s All the Ways You Saved Me is a quintessential new adult read, and I think ya’ll will enjoy it.
