Crossing the {Bloggiesta} Finish Line

Bloggiesta Finish Line

So. This week has gone by in a total blur. I can’t believe how much I got done this week during Bloggiesta. I also can’t believe how much I didn’t get done, too! Since I marked off things on the list on the Bloggiesta Start Post, I am not going to recap everything here. But I will tell you about my experience during this week-long Bloggiesta!

Greatest Joy
First, I had a total blast interacting with the participants. I feel like I got to know some totally new bloggers a little bit, and I’m going to make an effort to be more social in the blogosphere. I read lots of posts and articles and I hardly ever leave comments. I’m definitely going to do better with that from now on.

…Followed by how happy I am that so many of you tried out Trello and will be using it to help organize all the things. I am always hesitant to share tips and things that I love, so this made me feel more confident about it. Plus, I felt like everything came full circle when Kendra used Trello for something that I hadn’t even thought of. #proudmoment

…Followed by (not really, this is pretty awesome) the fact that my kid is posting stuff on goodreads for me and is going to help out with some other data entry that I need for our business. This makes me happy on all kinds of levels.

Greatest Disappointment
I didn’t write any reviews. And I wanted to write twenty. I’m not counting it a total loss because I will be writing two as soon as I post this, but still. I have to not be too disappointed because this is Bloggiesta–not Write-on-Review-a-thon. So there’s that.

…Followed by…nothing. I’m pretty happy with all that I accomplished this week!

Thanks to Suey and Danielle and all of the participants for making this the best Bloggiesta ever! Now it’s time to schedule Emailiesta to clean out the thousands of emails cluttering up my inbox!

  1. Having a weeklong Bloggiesta really helped, as I was able to get so much done! And it was so much fun meeting everyone during the Twitter chats! And thanks again for introducing me to Trello. I’m still playing with it and figuring things out, but have two boards full of cards and keep it open on my desktop for easy access. Don’t feel bad about not writing any reviews. I didn’t get any reading done at all and only wrote half the reviews I had planned on writing. It was still a blast, and we can always catch up later! 🙂
