I’m sorry. Is it actually already October?!?!
This isn’t the first year we’ve participated in the Blog Ahead Challenge, hosted by Herding Cats and Burning Soup. It’s basically a call to get off your ass and set up some posts for the next couple of months so you can stay on track when things get busy.
Sounds like just what I need. Here’s the 411 on the #BlogAhead2016 Challenge:
- Dates: October 1-31
- Goal: Increase the number of scheduled posts you have by 30.
I’ve been in the middle of overhauling a lot of things and catching up on lots of stuff, too, including reviews on netgalley and goodreads and adding all of our reviews to the indexes here on Pretty Sassy Cool and on Swoony Boys Podcast, too. My goals this time are going to be slightly different than usual, though I’m hoping to have 30 posts scheduled at the end of the month on each of the blogs. I also have some more goals, but I’m not trying to make this a sort of Bloggiesta. I’ll need that soon, though. So here’s what I’m trying to accomplish during the month of October and where I’m at right now:

Scheduled Posts as of September 30: ZERO!
Goals
- Check to see if any of my posts in Drafts can be changed to Scheduled.
- Set Up November, December, and January review posts–even if I don’t get the reviews written. I know this isn’t technically scheduling the posts, but just getting the graphics made will help a ton.
Set Up November, December, and January Waiting on Wednesday posts.DONE!
Swoony Boys Podcast (Young Adult and Children’s Reviews)
Scheduled Posts as of September 30: 17!
Goals

I’m with you! How can it be October already? Wasn’t it June like two days ago or something? ha! I’m doing the Blog Ahead Challenge too in the hope that it will kick my butt back into blogging gear and I’ll start posting on a more consistent basis. Good luck!
