Lily Stanton's vacation goes from bad to worse when a storm strands her in a foreign country, arguing with an arrogant—and very sexy—stranger over the last available hotel room.

Successful CEO Bruno Komarov wasn't expecting the gorgeous woman checking in at the reception desk to challenge him over a room. Even more surprising, he actually enjoys their exchange.

But when Lily proposes a compromise—she'll take the bed and he can sleep on the couch—Bruno pushes his attraction aside and assures himself that this can remain strictly business. After all, they're both adults capable of keeping their hands to themselves. They'll share the room, get a good night's sleep, and be off to their respective destinations in the morning.

What could possibly happen in just one night?

Kassiah: When all of the flights are canceled due to storms, there’s one room left at the Ritz and two customers trying to get the reservation: Business consultant Lily Stanton and wine entrepreneur Bruno Komarov. She’s coming off a bad breakup and he’s ready to settle down. After arguing over the room a bit, Bruno lets her have the reservation, and Lily in turn invites him to sleep on the couch.

You already know what happens–they can’t keep their hands off each other and find themselves in a conundrum when they realize they might want more than just one night.

With a woman like Lily waiting for him back in the bed, he wouldn’t want to waste a moment getting back to her. Back to the woman with whom he’d had the best, most explosive sex of his life. A joining that had wrenched his soul right out of his body and deposited it into Lily Stanton’s soft arms.

The idea for this story isn’t a new one and there are tons of cliches sprinkled throughout (“Tell me what you want.”). The sex was okay, and I liked Bruno’s point of view. I thought Lily said some dumb things, and I hated that she kept referring to him as Komarov instead of Bruno, even though he insisted on it many many times.

This was a quick read, and I’m not sure if there are any more novellas planned featuring these two, but I think readers will be satisfied with the ending even if there aren’t anymore.
